Competitiveness Analysis and Growth Path for Brand Development of Jiangsu’s Cruise Industry

Abstract

Driven by policy support, manufacturing breakthroughs and consumption upgrades, China’s domestic cruise industry has entered a critical transition phase. Its brand building still faces prominent constraints including intense international competition, severe product homogenization, and core technological shortcomings. This paper systematically proposes targeted development strategies from five core dimensions: consolidating manufacturing foundation, deepening cross-segment industrial chain collaboration, launching differentiated innovative services, optimizing top-level policy support, and expanding high-level international cooperation, to drive China’s cruise industry to achieve a historic leap from scale expansion to value leadership, and eventually grow into a new core growth pole in the global cruise economy.
