Abstract

Focusing on 10kV distribution lines, this study examines automation technologies and their operational benefits in enhancing supply continuity and reducing maintenance costs. It systematically analyzes the automation workflow encompassing fault identification, sectionalization, and service restoration, while highlighting the integration of modern communication infrastructure and smart terminal devices. The research identifies key barriers to effective automation deployment and proposes targeted strategies to overcome these obstacles, facilitating the progressive advancement of distribution line automation in 10kV networks.
