Application of Liquid‑Based Thin‑Layer Cytology AI Diagnosis Combined with HPV‑16 Integration Detection in Cervical Lesion Screening

With rising health awareness and increasing cancer incidence, cervical lesion screening has become more widespread. To enhance screening efficiency and accuracy, this study investigates the application value of liquid-based thin-layer cytology artificial intelligence (AI) diagnostic technology in the pathological diagnosis of cervical lesions, and analyzes the occurrence of HPV-16 integration into the human host genome in cervical cancer and precancerous lesions and its significance for screening. Samples were collected from 50 cases of cervical cancer, 127 cases of low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (LSIL), 83 cases of high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (HSIL), and 22 cases of normal cervical epithelial tissues from total hysterectomy. Overlapping PCR was used to detect HPV-16 integration status, aiming to provide a basis for optimizing cervical lesion screening strategies.
