Abstract

Under the background of Maritime Power Strengthening the Nation, it is even more important to implement ideological & political education upon maritime students. Maritime English, as a core professional course of Navigation technology, the ideological & political education endows future mariners with a sense of China Mood and international horizon. The possession of a loft goal can ensure them with a non-ceasing learning drive. Currently, the Ideological and political education of Maritime courses is still lacking behind in the aspect of teaching concept, curriculum construction, ideological & political education as well as the teaching process. This paper means to explore a method to integrate curriculum ideology into maritime English teaching guided by POA theory, strengthen the learning drive of students so as to effectively attain the prescirbed educational goal.
